Warning #1: (This also applies to the MiniDragon-Plus3, Thunderbird12 and Spider12)
We have two versions of the Dragon12 Plus board. The Dragon12P-USB-DB and the Dragon12P-USB-SM.  Although  boards are identical in terms of hardware, the FLASH memory in the HCS12 chip is programmed differently.  The Dragon12P-USB-DB is programmed with Freescale D-Bug12 monitor and the Dragon12P-USB-SM is programmed with Freescale serial monitor.

In the past some students ordered their boards with incorrect monitor firmware and had to return them for changing the monitor firmware. In order to avoid this problem and understand which Dragon12 Plus board you should order please read the web page Which monitor should I get? before placing your order.

Warning #2:
If you are going to use our boards with a laptop that does not have a legendary COM port, you may need to buy a USB to RS232 serial adapter  for some Wytec trainers.  Quite a few students had to re-order the adapters after receiving their boards. Before your checkout, make sure that the adapter is included in your shopping cart.

The Dragon12 Plus, MiniDragon-Plus3 and Husky11 boards include USB interface so an external USB to RS232 adapter is not needed.

Warning #3:
If we find an error with your order we will try to contact you by email. You should check your email often after placing your order, so we can correct it before shipping.  We won't ship your order until the error is corrected. If you don't check your email it will only delay your shipment.  If you provide us with a phone number when placing your order, we can contact you by phone.

About international shipping:

The International Shipping cost via USPS Express Mail with a large flat-rate envelope is USD $28. It will provide you an on-line tracking number and require your signature on the delivery, so your package will not get lost.

The USPS express mail requires a phone number in case your mailman needs to contact you if he is not able to deliver your package. You can enter your phone number when ordering or email it to us afterward.

The Canadian Shipping cost via USPS Priority Mail with a large flat-rate envelope is USD $12. It will not provide you an on-line tracking number, but you will receive a confirmation email from USPS that shows when your package leaves for Canada. It's faster than the regular air mail which sometimes would take 4 weeks to deliver in the worst case we have seen.
If you would like to upgrade your shipping method to Express Mail please contact us via email.

The international shipping is expensive.  There are only two ways to reduce your cost:

1.  Team up with your classmates or friends to buy our products together especially the low cost and light weight products like the USBDM. If you order 4 of them, the Express Mail shipping charge will drop to $7 each.

2.  Change your shipping method to regular air mail that will cost much less and we will refund you any over-payment immediately after shipping.

Most countries have good mail service systems. If you think that you can safely receive your order via regular air mail, then you can contact us via email to change your shipping method to regular air mail.  The cost of regular air mail is about $5 and we will refund you $23 after shipping. We are not responsible if your package is not delivered by the post service in your country, but you will receive a confirmation email from USPS that shows the date they actually receive your package from us.

When you choose using regular air mail, you need to provide us an easy-to-deliver address, the one you usually receive mails everyday without any problems. Usually a home address is the best. A department address in a large company or a large university that has many departments is the worst and should be avoid.

About domestic Shipping:

Usually your order will be shipped in 1-2 days via UPS ground or USPS priority mail or regular air mail to contiguous 48 states, via priority mail to Alaska and Hawaii. If you need 2nd day or next day service please contact us.

Please do not use eCheck payment with your PayPal account. If you do, PayPal will not allow us to process your on-line shipping until your eCheck is cleared.  It usually will delay your shipment for 3-4 days.
