How to reduce my international shipping cost?
Warning #1: (This also applies to the
MiniDragon+, MiniDragon Plus2, Thunderbird12 and Spider12)
We have two versions of the Dragon12 Plus
board. The Dragon12P-USB and the Dragon12P-USB-SM. Although boards are
identical in terms of hardware, the FLASH memory in the HCS12 chip is programmed
differently. The Dragon12P-USB is programmed with Freescale D-Bug12 monitor
and the Dragon12P-USB-SM is programmed with Freescale serial monitor.
In the past some students ordered their boards with incorrect monitors and had to return them for changing the monitor firmware. In order to avoid this problem and understand which Dragon12 Plus board you should order please read the web page Which monitor should I get? before placing your order.
Warning #2:
If you are going to use our boards with a laptop
that does
not have a legendary COM port, you may need to buy
a USB to
RS232 serial adapter for some Wytec trainers. Quite a few
students had to re-order the adapters after receiving their boards. Before your
checkout,
make sure that the adapter is included in your shopping cart.
The new Dragon12 Plus board and the new MiniDragon+ board include USB interface so an external USB to RS232 adapter is not needed.
Warning #3:
If we find an error with your order we will try
to contact you by email. You should check your email often after placing
your order, so we can correct it before shipping. We won't ship your order until
the error is corrected. If you don't check your email it will only delay your
shipment. If you provide us with a phone number when placing your order,
